desktop accessories

Desktop accessories can be used to great effect. By using the space on your desktop more effectively, you can reduce the amount of reaching and work more comfortably.

Organising everything into categories where they can be found saves a lot more time than it takes to do the organising, and can also reduces stress.

Products that are available include:

Stackable Letter trays In/out trays. They work well provided you actually clear them.

Magazine Files Usually available in plastic or strong cardboard. Note: it is possible to reduce costs by placing folders in-between the holders.

Box Files Strong and can be stood upright to reduce space.

Shelving units Long wooden plinths that you can position on your desk. Note: if there is the potential for the shelves to fall off the back of the desk it may be necessary to secure them with simple metal brackets.

Pen tidys No more hunting for pens, spares staples or elastic bands.

Folders tidy up loose papers into folders using dividers or plastic wallets where necessary. Not only do the papers take up less room but they are also easier to locate.
