Cable Management:

Cable management systems range from simple do-it-yourself items to expensive integrated desk solutions. It is important to have cables tidy and secure to reduce the risk of damage and people tripping over them.

For cables trailing across open areas you can buy flexible cable protector. This can be cut to length.

A number of cables can be threaded into the slit in the bottom of the cover.

The ideal solution for cables in and around the desk area is to attach them to the desk itself. Cable should be fed around the side and back of the desk rather than under the chair or across the footwell. It is worth examining your desk to check if it has a cable management system. This is usually located at the rear of the desk either as part of the desktop itself or immediately underneath.

If you do not have a cable management system as part of your desk a simple solution is to use cable ties to group the cables together, with hooks to suspend them.
