Telephone Arms:
|
|
 |
|
The telephone arm is a simple accessory
which usually clamps onto either the side or the back of the
desk. Similar in design to the angle poise lamp the user can
adjust the angle or height of the arm so that the telephone
is easy to reach and use. |
|
Telephone arms are sometimes needed when there is not enough
room on the desktop. However, as is true of many products on
the market today, they are often seen as a 'new gadget that
the user next door doesn't have'. Hence they are often bought
when they are not actually needed. In most cases the problem
of lack of desktop space can be overcome without the need to
purchase additional equipment. The solution - more effective
desktop management i.e. tidying up and organising paperwork.
For folders and storage trays see the details on the Desktop
Accessories catalogue page.
If after reorganising your desktop, you still feel that you
need a telephone arm they can be purchased from office equipment
suppliers or ergonomic product companies.
Prices are vary between £15 and £25 and the main stockists are
ergonomic product suppliers.
