Here's how it works:   it's point-and-click.

1. Select your User Group (e.g. UK Male, 18-64, 5th-95th percentile).
2. Visualise your design being used, Click on a relevant Icon for a large illustration.
3. Click on triangles to select the dimension you want - each triangle is a measurement landmark.

As you select each dimension the output dialog gives data for the population you specified.

Automatic adjustments are added for clothing and sitting slump.

Keep clicking until you have all the anthropometry data you need.

At any stage data can be exported into a Word, simple text or spreadsheet format.

PeopleSize can also reverse the calculation to give you the percentiles for measurements you have taken.

PeopleSize has the largest and most recent anthropometry dataset we know of, covering adults for the UK, USA, China, Holland, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan. There are data for UK and US infants (0-24 mths) and children from 2 -17.

Anthropometry is the science of human dimensions. Use anthropometry to achieve good human fit, and size your design to the dimensions of your users. Unlike tables of anthropometry data, PeopleSize is point-and-click. In this sense it is more like HumanScale than Pheasant's Bodyspace.
